Mobile App Troubleshooting
Common App Issues
📱 App won't start or crashes
Try these steps in order:
- • Force close and restart the app
- • Restart your phone
- • Update to the latest app version
- • Clear app cache (Android) or reinstall (iOS)
🔐 Can't receive SMS verification codes
Check your phone's signal strength, ensure your number is entered correctly, and check spam/blocked messages. If using a VoIP number, try a regular mobile number instead.
📍 No jobs showing in my area
Make sure location services are enabled for eMelo in your phone's settings. Try expanding your search radius in the app's filter settings or check if there are jobs in nearby areas.
🔔 Not receiving push notifications
Check these settings:
- • Allow notifications for eMelo in your phone settings
- • Enable notifications in the eMelo app settings
- • Check if Do Not Disturb is enabled
- • Ensure the app is updated to the latest version
💬 Messages not sending or loading
Check your internet connection (WiFi or mobile data). If the issue persists, try logging out and back in, or contact support if messages are missing.
🔄 App is slow or freezing
Close other apps running in the background, ensure you have enough storage space, and restart your phone. If the issue continues, update the app or contact support.
